The poetry of the earth is never dead!

Adopt the pace of nature. Her secret is patience, whether it is on or under the earth.........
Ruwan J - Founder of Ceylon Trans.
How did we start?

Ruwan (founder of Ceylon Trans) has been an ardent nature lover since his childhood. Discovering waterfalls, streams, animals, mountains, jungles, and hiking through them was his only hobby. He fell in love with studying geology, monerology, funa, flora, weather patterns, soil systems, and gemology. That led him to enter the field of gem since he was born in the gem land "Ceylon".
It was fun in the periods of studying, purchasing gems in rough gem markets, and gem streets in Ratnapura with his co-existent mates who studied with him, and talking to the people, such as vendors, miners, with the fear of synthetic gems called locally “Gulabi”. Recognizing them made him feel heroic. Recognizing and determining the sapphires is the culmination of the field.
Entering gem mining was a great step in the field. Experiences from the small streams, river beds, aluvial deposits, semi-aluvial deposits, and land deposits gave a new vibe to recognize the gems from a different angle. Especially, heating quality sapphires called locally "Geuda" were of the greatest interest in the field.
Hey, it is a team now! Feel strong with their hands. Ruwan feels great to thank his teacher for the gem heat treatment, Dananandana sir, who showed him the importance of heat treatment; Chandana Malli, who is always a strong hand; and beloved pal Gajan aiya, always behind the scenes. and ruwan's collaborating team.
